Insulation Solutions, Inc. to fill
a gap in the regional marketplace
for high quality foam insulation.
As owner of Quiniscoe Homes, a builder
of high-end custom homes in the Windermere
Valley, in the South east corner
of British Columbia, Dave realized
the need for a local spray foam insulation
provider that could solve many of
the challenges today’s complex
home designs present. It just was
not available in the region.
Having researched and used Icynene®
in homes in the cold northern climate
of Whitehorse, Yukon in 1995, the
choice of product was simple. Icynene
fit the bill. It is water-blown rather
than chemical-blown which means healthier
cleaner air, and a better working
environment for the sprayers. Icynene’s
20+ years of service and their proven

and reducing noise were also important

Spray Formula
Applied as a liquid, Icynene expands
to 100 times its volume in seconds
to fill every crack and crevice while
remaining flexible so that the integrity
of the building envelope seal remains
intact over time. Icynene's spray
formula has an R-value of 3.6 per
inch. It acts as a complete insulation
and air barrier to minimize air leakage
and seal the building envelope for
optimal airtightness.
